Trent Alexander-Arnold showed his class as he sent a signed pair of boots as well as a signed shirt to a Manchester City academy player who is currently sidelined through injury.

Alexander-Arnold has enjoyed a fine start to the season, winning four of his five matches with Liverpool, and claiming the Player of the Match award in each of England's Nations League wins over Ireland and Finland.

With plenty going on for the 25-year-old on the pitch, it would be easy for him to get carried away and forget the things the truly matter, but he showed that he still has a level head on his shoulders by reaching out to 15-year-old Tyrese Noubissie.

Noubissie shared a picture of the jersey and boots signed by Trent, with a message that said: “To Tyrese, best wishes. Keep chasing the dream bro!”

Noubissie, whose father, Patrick Noubissie, was also a professional player, joined City from Leicester City in 2023 when he was just 14 for a reported £1million transfer fee. talkSPORT reported that City fended off competition from Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea to land the highly rated central midfielder.

Meanwhile, uncertainty continues to linger around Alexander-Arnold's future at Liverpool, with the defender's current contract set to expire at the end of the season.

While Reds captain Virgil van Dijk, who is also into the final 12 months of his deal at Anfield, recently stated his desire to stay at Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold has remained curiously quiet on his future. However, the Liverpool Echo reported in August that Alexander-Arnold was 'determined not to have talks over his future be played out in public out of respect for his boyhood club'.
