Tribe Soccer tops Trinity 12-0 for 12th-straight victory

Mar. 9—TRINITY — Jacksonville Tribe Soccer extended its winning streak to 12 matches Friday night in Trinity by demolishing the Tigers, 12-0, in District 16-4A play.

Jacksonville (18-3-1, 12-0) picked up its 13 shutout win of the season and its fourth-straight shutout in its latest triumph.

The Tribe now have a two-match lead over second-place Palestine with two regular season matches remaining on the docket.

Jacksonville will return to The Historic Tomato Bowl Tuesday for a 5 p.m. match against Diboll. The match will be the first half of a Tribe-Maiden doubleheader with teams from Diboll. The Maidens and Ladyjacks will get started at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday will also be Senior Night for the Tribe.
