Portsmouth have offered new contracts to Marko Futacs, Ashley Harris and Dan Butler as they prepare for life in npower League One next season.
Boss Michael Appleton on Monday released Jamie Ashdown, Ricardo Rocha and Benjani while Stephen Henderson completed his permanent move to West Ham.
But despite the club's financial worries, Appleton has been able to offer Hungarian striker Futacs new terms. The former Werder Bremen man, 22, scored five goals in 30 appearances after signing last August.
Fellow forward Harris, 18, broke into the first team towards the end of the season and made five appearances.
Butler, an 18-year-old defender, skippered Pompey's academy side last term and will be looking to make the step-up.
