It's happening. John Terry is LEAVING Chelsea Football Club.

His contract is up in the summer, and he's not signing a new one. He might well play on elsewhere, but he hasn't quite decided yet. And it's pretty big bloody news.

Terry has won four Premier League titles - and could make it five if the Blues hold on to first place in the final six games of the season - along with five FA Cups, three League Cups, a Europa League and Champions League. He's also won a host of individual awards and is considered the club's greatest ever.

It's for those reasons that Twitter blew up in response at around 5pm on Monday afternoon.

Of course though, not everyone supports Chelsea. So some took the news in a rather more relaxed way than others might have.

Regardless of how you feel towards him though, John Terry is among the greatest to have ever featured in the Premier League, and for Chelsea Football Club.
