​The Premier League finally returned this weekend and it certainly made up for the wait due to the international break, giving fans a veritable feast of Saturday action.

Liverpool came away with a convincing win in the Merseyside derby while Manchester United unsurprisingly dropped points against West Brom. But easliy the most shocking result of the day came in the form of Chelsea losing - yes, it's not a joke - to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham closed the gap at the top to seven with a win over Burnley, Hull City fought back to beat West Ham, Leicester City kept their run going against Stoke City, Southampton and Bournemouth brought us the only boring match of the day, and Watford took all three points against Championship-bound Sunderland.
