Having played out a 0-0 draw with West Brom at the weekend, Manchester United were back in action on Tuesday, this time facing an Everton side still licking the wounds inflicted by a 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Saturday.
Twitter, as usual, was buzzing throughout match, especially as United just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net; meanwhile, things couldn't have gone any better for Toffees fans - and neutrals - after Phil Jagielka opened the scoring in the first half with a Zlatan-like bicycle kick that nutmegged De Gea.
While Mourinho's men rescued a point with a last minute penalty from Zlatan, the damage had already been done, and United fans were scathing in their condemnation - with goals so seemingly difficult to come by, United followers the world over will find it difficult not to reminisce about the swashbuckling, free-scoring days under Fergie.
