Two Featherweight Bouts Added to TUF 17 Finale

Ed Herman vs. Rafael Natal and Edwin Figueroa vs. Erik Perez Added to UFC 167 Fight Card

The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale fight card is taking shape. Two featherweight bouts have been added to the quickly filling April 13 roster.

Bart Palaszewski will fight Cole Miller and Daniel Pineda will take on The Ultimate Fighter 15’s Justin Lawrence.

The two bouts were first reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal on Monday, and subsequently confirmed by UFC officials.

Palaszewski (36-16) has gone 1-2 since transferring to the UFC from the WEC. He’s on a two-fight losing skid. He last competed in October, losing a decision to Diego Nunes.

Miller (18-7) is also on a two-fight losing streak. He last fought in August, losing a split decision to Nam Phan. Both will be trying to get back on the winning track and avoid losing three fights in a row, which usually puts your job in jeopardy with the UFC.

Pineda (17-9) has gone 2-2 inside the Octagon, losing his last two outings. He last saw action at UFC 149 in July where he was knocked out by Antonio Carvalho.

Lawrence (4-1) impressed in his UFC debut during The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale, finishing with a head kick knockout of John Cofer. He suffered his first official loss in August by technical knockout to Max Holloway.
