Two men in hospital after being hit by car on rural road

Two men are in hospital after being hit by a car in the evening.

A 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were involved in a collision with a black Ford Fiesta at around 9pm on Sunday, September 17.

The Argus understands that the two men may have been in a Toyota 4x4 shortly before the crash.

Following the crash on Old Broyle Road in Chichester, Sussex Police have called for witnesses to the crash to come forward.

Sussex Police officer PC Steve Lambeth said: “We are requesting anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.

“We are also keen to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle before the collision, or anyone who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.”
