Barnsley have signed former Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick.
Alnwick arrives at Oakwell on a free transfer following his release by Spurs and will compete with last season's supporters' player of the year Luke Steele for the number one jersey.
The 25-year-old, who has signed a two-year contract, told the club's official website: "I'm happy to be here. I'm out of contract so I've been looking for a club and it's great to come here.
"I'm going to try and compete with Steeley (Luke Steele) who is a top keeper. It'll be good for both of us - pushing each other every day."
Alnwick began his career with Sunderland as a trainee before making a move to Tottenham in January 2007 for a six-figure fee.
He had loan spells at Leicester, Norwich and more recently Leyton Orient last season during his time at White Hart Lane.
