Tyson Fury takes shot at Anthony Joshua after knocking out Tom Schwarz on Las Vegas debut

Tyson Fury has taken a shot at Anthony Joshua after his emphatic knockout win over Tom Schwarz.

The Gypsy King dazzled on his debut in Las Vegas, putting the German away inside two rounds with a flurry of crisp shots.

And after revelling in his own impressive performance and calling for his rematch with Deontay Wilder, Fury made time to take aim at domestic rival Joshua.

The former unified world heavyweight champion lost his belts in a stunning defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr two weeks ago and Fury claims, unlike himself, Joshua did not want to be in the ring.

“I came here tonight to put on a good show,” Fury told BT Sport.

“I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m big, fat, bald-headed and I came walking out in an Uncle Sam outfit.

“A couple of weeks ago we saw a man (Joshua) who was a bit afraid to be in the ring. Did I show any of that? I don’t think so.

“I love to fight, I love when the crowd is all there and want to see a good fight, the big attention. I thrive with all of that sort of stuff.”

Next up for Fury could be Kubrat Pulev, with the Bulgarian also in the Top Rank stable.

That fight could happen in September or October.

“It was amazing, I hope America enjoyed it,” Fury added.

“I’m not one of those who take myself too seriously. September 21st or October 5th, I think in New York, then I’ll hunt down Wilder.”
