Uefa Nations League Team of the Tournament, best player and combined ratings
Portugal became the first ever side to win the Uefa Nations League and did so on home soil with a 1-0 win over the Netherlands on Sunday night.
Goncalo Guedes scored the game’s only goal as Bernardo Silva caused no end of problems for the Dutch defence, just as he had done against Switzerland, when Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning hat-trick, earlier in the week.
Frenkie de Jong was outstanding against England but was more occupied in a defensive role against the hosts, though was still named young player of the tournament.
Earlier on Sunday England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford scored a penalty and then saved one to win the shootout in the third placed playoff.
