UFC 205 Face-Offs Explosion: Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez
The fighters from Saturday's UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor championship fights went before the fans at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday.
It's the fight game, and in the fight game, things tend to get edgy in the lead-up to fight time. The UFC 205 pre-fight press conference was no different. With Conor McGregor arriving late and Eddie Alvarez getting fired up about it, emotions were already running high by the time the press conference was over and company president Dana White brought the opponents together for staredowns in front of fans and photographers.
It was no surprise that Alvarez and McGregor's face-off would be contentious, but there's didn't reach the boiling point of women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and her challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who had to be pulled apart.
