UFC 276 full results: Adesanya outpoints Cannonier; Volkanovski dominates Holloway

A loaded UFC 276 ended in ho-hum fashion with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya cruising to a win over Jared Cannonier, who failed to mount any type of significant offense in the main event Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Adesanya and Cannonier's anti-climatic fight drew boos from the crowd and ended with "The Last Stylebender" securing the unanimous decision victory.

Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski also retained his belt by unanimous decision with a dominant performance over five rounds against former champion Max Holloway. It wasn't the outcome many expected when the fight was booked a third time, but Volkanovski proved he was the better fighter once again to go up 3-0 in their trilogy.

Middleweight contender Alex Pereira did give fans in attendance the finish they craved when he landed a vicious left hook that put Sean Strickland down on the canvas. He followed it up with a couple strikes to score the first-round finish and set up a title shot with Adesanya, whom he previously knocked out in a kickboxing match.
