UFC Fight Night 56 Weigh-in Results: Main Event a Go, but Lineker Struggles Again
The UFC Fight Night 56 fighters stepped on the scale Friday in Uberlândia, Brazil. The main event pits former UFC and Pride champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua against late replacement Ovince St. Preux.
Shogun was originally slated to face Jimi Manuwa in the main event, but an injury forced Manuwa out of the fight last week. St. Preux immediately stepped up to save the headlining bout.

Saturday's co-main event features what is supposed to be a pivotal flyweight bout between Ian McCall and John Lineker. The winner was expected to put his name in immediate title contention for the belt currently held by Demetrious Johnson.
Lineker, however, has a history of struggling to make weight, and he struggled once again, stepping on the scale at 126.7 pounds. That is 0.7 pounds over the allowed limit for a flyweight non-title bout. He was given one hour to try and get down to 126 pounds.
