Not surprisingly, UFC Fight Night 87 featured Dutch heavyweight Alistair Overeem taking on teammate Andrei Arlovski in the headliner, both men trying to fight their way into a title shot.

Those in attendance witnessed Overeem finish the former champion in the second round. He delivered a crane kick that landed on the chin of Arlosvki and dropped him with a follow-up left hand.

In the fight card's co-main event, heavyweight Dutchman Stefan Struve put Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva away in quick fashion. Silva rushed across the cage and Struve stunned him with a punch and finished him with a series of unanswered elbows. The fight lasted 16 seconds.
