UFC Fight Night 93 Fighter Bonuses: Barnett and Arlovski Put on Fight of the Night
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Germany on Saturday, although they landed in a new city, Hamburg. The UFC Fight Night 93 main eventers are both former heavyweight champions, and it showed in their performances .
Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski are pioneers, having held the UFC heavyweight championship years ago, but remain in the Top 10 of the division. In Hamburg, they showed why they are still hovering around the top, putting on a back-and-forth battle that earned them the Fight of the Night honor.

Barnett won the battle with Arlovski, wearing him down with a strong clinch game before submitting him late in the third round. In addition to Fight of the Night, Barnett captured one of the two Performance of the Night awards.
The other Performance of the Night went to Ryan Bader, who knocked out Ilir Latifi early in round two.
Each award is accompanied by a $50,000 bonus check. Having taken home two honors, Barnett will receive $100,000 in post-fight bonus money.
