UFC on FOX 19 Results: John Dodson Finishes Manny Gamburyan in 47 Seconds
John Dodson made a successful return to bantamweight and quickly dispatched Manny Gamburyan with a first-round technical knockout Saturday at UFC on FOX 19.
Dodson needed only 47 seconds to put Gamburyan away, landing several left hands before finishing the bout in front of the Tampa, Fla. crowd.

Dodson took center-Octagon and controlled the action in the fight almost immediately. Gamburyan circled around and attempted to avoid danger, but Dodson eventually shot forward with a left hand that found its mark.
Gamburyan attempted to counter a barrage of left hands, but Dodson eventually landed consecutive strikes and Gamburyan fell. Several left uppercuts ended the bout and Dodson picked up the first-rounds finish.
With the win in Florida, Dodson earns his 18th career win. In defeat, Gamburyan suffers his ninth career loss.
