Nick Diaz is interested in fighting right now, according to UFC President Dana White, who says we probably won’t see Nate Diaz anytime soon.

However, White has revealed that his brother, Nick Diaz, is close to a comeback after being out of action for three years. White revealed the news to TMZ on Friday.

“I think Nick Diaz is interested in fighting right now, we will see how that plays out. The rest of this year, nothing but great fights coming up so hopefully we can make a couple of those,” said White.

Dana revealed they had offered Nate Diaz numerous fights which he turned down but there is one fight he would be interested in.

“Obviously, if Conor [McGregor] was available, Nate would take that fight for sure – it’s a big money fight.”

However, when asked about the match-up, Dana predicts we are more likely to see a Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather rematch.

“As of right now I would say Conor/Floyd”

Dana also confirmed Tyron Woodley’s next opponent and it isn’t Nate Diaz.

“Nate doesn’t want to fight and, right now, Nate isn’t in line for a title shot. Rafael dos Anjos just beat Robbie Lawler which is a big deal, he deserves the fight.”
