UFC Sydney Attendance: Fans Turn Out for Record-Setting Event

UFC Fight Night 55 had close to 10,000 Australian fans attend the daytime event at the Allphones Arena in Sydney on Saturday.

A total of 9,904 spectators filled the stands to watch a card headlined by a grudge match between Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping.

The main event saw Rockhold drop Bisping with a headkick on the way chocking out “The Count,” cementing his third straight win in the UFC.

The co-main event showcased a career win for Al Iaquinta, as he rocked Ross Pearson with a punch that sent him dropping to the floor. Pearson got up, only to be rocked again by Iaquinta for the technical-knockout finish.

Fans in attendance witnessed history as UFC Fight Night 55 became the first UFC card in the modern era to have all 11 bouts finish within the distance.
