Ulinzi Stars keeper sets 2017 target

Ulinzi Stars are out to lift all trophies in the 2017 season, says goalkeeper James Saruni

Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper James Saruni has revealed the team is in for all major trophies this season.

The Soldiers finished third last season in the race for the league title, but finished as first runners-up in the GOtv Shield tournament and Saruni now says that he will do his best to help the team achieve their 2017 targets.

"We are in for all trophies this season, from the league to the Shield, we have a good squad to do it. Last season we slipped off when it mattered most, but we have learnt our lessons. My target is getting regular call-up in the Harambee Stars team, and at the end of the season win golden gloves.

"It is all about consistency this season, it is the only thing that can help us achieve our goals," he told Goal.

Ulinzi Stars are currently in the sixth position with 12 points from eight matches.
