Unai Emery gives Amadou Onana and Jacob Ramsey injury updates ahead of Aston Villa's trip to Chelsea
Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana could return from injury to face Chelsea on Sunday, but Unai Emery has confirmed Jacob Ramsey remains sidelined.
Onana suffered a foot injury while representing Belgium on international duty earlier this month, while Ramsey picked up a hamstring problem in Villa's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool before the break.
Boubacar Kamara also suffered a hamstring injury in that loss at Anfield, but returned to action in Villa's Champions League clash against Juventus on Wednesday night. Ezri Konsa was named among the substitutes and could make his first appearance since suffering a hip injury while playing for England two weeks ago.

Asked about team news in his pre-match press conference, Emery said: "The last match we weren’t with Onana and Ramsey. Ramsey is out as well [for Chelsea], but Onana, it depends how he is progressing. In case he can train tomorrow, we will see."
Villa drew 0-0 with Juventus last time out and head to Chelsea this weekend searching for their first league victory for six weeks after drawing at home to Bournemouth and Crystal Palace either side of away defeats to Tottenham and Liverpool.
Opponents Chelsea will be without captain Reece James, who is expected to be out until late December with a hamstring injury. Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto could both feature against Villa after they returned to training at Cobham this week.
Villa have won their last two Premier League away games against Chelsea, as many as in their previous 21 visits to Stamford Bridge. They last won three consecutive away league games against the Blues between 1930 and 1933.
