Unai Emery gives Aston Villa injury update ahead of Bournemouth clash
Unai Emery says he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Aston Villa's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at Villa Park on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The only absentee from the match will be Jaden Philogene, who picked up a red card in the 3-1 win over Fulham last weekend. He will serve a one-match ban on Saturday after picking up two bookings at Craven Cottage.
Apart from Philogene, Emery has a full squad to select from as Villa go in search of a third successive victory this weekend. Amadou Onana did come off with some pain at half-time in Villa's victory over Bologna on Tuesday night, but he has been training at Bodymoor Heath ahead of Saturday.

"All the players are ready, apart from Jaden, who is suspended," Emery said in his pre-match press conference. "Bogarde and Sil [Swinkels] are playing for the Under-21s today."
Boubacar Kamara made his first appearance since February earlier this week, while Tyrone Mings made his long-awaited return to the matchday squad and remained among the substitutes.
Bournemouth enjoyed a four-game winning run against Villa in the top flight from 2016 to 2022, but they have since taken just one point from their last three matches against them. They fell to a 3-0 defeat at Villa Park in 2022/23 and lost 3-1 last season.
That was Villa's final win of the season last term as they failed to claim victory in any of their remaining six matches in all competitions. Emery's side have started this campaign just as impressively as they did last term as they sit in the top four after eight matches.
Villa are searching for their sixth win of the league season having picked up 17 points in eight Premier League games, which is just the third time they’ve had that many points at this stage, also doing so in 1995-96 and 1998-99.
Bournemouth come into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over title hopefuls Arsenal, who could be leapfrogged by Villa this weekend.
