Undefeated Warlley Alves Faces Bryan Barberena at UFC 198
Welterweight Bryan Barberena ended the hype surrounding Sage Northcutt by submitting the 19-year-old at UFC on FOX 18 on Jan. 30. The 26-year-old Californian plans to build on the performance when he faces undefeated Warlley Alves at UFC 198 in May.
Ultimate Fighting Championship announce the addition to the May 14 pay-per-view event expected to take place in Brazil on Tuesday.

Barberena (11-3) defeated Joe Ellenberger by knockout in his promotional debut in December 2014. In his second UFC outing, “Bam Bam” lost by unanimous decision to The Ultimate Fighter Nations winner Chad Laprise, but the contest earned Fight of the Night honors. In his last fight, he submitted Northcutt in the second round.
Alves (10-0) won The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 middleweight tournament, but dropped to the 170-pound division following his appearance on the reality series. He's 3-0 as a welterweight and has won his last two fights by submission.
UFC 198 takes place on May 14 in Brazil. The host city and venue for the pay-per-view event is still unknown.
