There is just one game taking place on Saturday in the United Rugby Championship as the Scarlets host the Dragons in their rescheduled encounter in Llanelli.

Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel has made seven personnel changes from last weekend’s win over Cardiff.

Four of those come behind the scrum as Peel reshuffles a side that has won its last three matches. With Johnny McNicholl picking up a knee injury at the Arms Park, Liam Williams switches to full-back, Steff Evans comes in on the left wing and Corey Baldwin on the right. Ryan Conbeer is unavailable for personal reasons and Tom Rogers is ruled out with an ankle injury.

There is a change in midfield with Joe Roberts coming in to partner skipper Jonathan Davies, who shifts to inside centre. Wales international Kieran Hardy gets the nod at scrum-half, linking up with Sam Costelow.

Up front, Shaun Evans replaces Ryan Elias and slots in alongside Steff Thomas and Javan Sebastian in the front-row.

In the second-row Morgan Jones comes in for former Wales U20s team-mate Jac Price, who picked up a nasty cut to his head at the Arms Park; the wound needing 30 stitches.

Tomas Lezana returns to the back-row alongside last week’s player of the match Aaron Shingler and number eight Sione Kalamafoni.

Daf Hughes has recovered from a shoulder issue to take his place among the replacements. Rob Evans and Blade Thomson also return to the matchday 23.

Ben Carter returns for the Dragons

Meanwhile, Wales international Ben Carter returns to the starting line-up for the Dragons. Dean Ryan has made four changes to his team with Carter recalled to partner international team-mate Will Rowlands in the second-row.

Aki Seiuli props down up front alongside Elliot Dee and Leon Brown. Greg Bateman misses the game with a shoulder injury. Rio Dyer is named on the wing with Jonah Holmes ruled out with a hamstring strain.

The final change is a recall for Josh Lewis at full-back. Jordan Williams is out of the game following illness this week.

Loosehead prop Josh Reynolds is called-up to take this place among the replacements, where he is joined by scrum-half Rhodri Williams who this week agreed a new contract with the region.

Ross Moriarty, Ollie Griffiths, Aneurin Owen and Ashton Hewitt are among those that remain unavailable for selection as they continue to recover from injuries.
