After Dustin Johnson's back injury, Jordan Spieth becomes the betting favorite to win the 2017 Masters tournament.

With Dustin Johnson suddenly uncertain for the 2017 Masters because ofa back injury, his odds to win the first major of the men's golf season have risen, according to online sportsbook Bovada.

Johnson, the world's No. 1-ranked golfer,is now Bovada's third betting choice at +750 (bet $100 to win $750). Jordan Spieth is now favored to win the green jacket at odds of +650, followed by Rory McIlroy at +700.

Johnson's manager, David Winkle,told reportersJohnson hurt his back Wednesday when he took a spill down some stairs at his rental home in Augusta, Ga. Johnson quickly began icing the injury and taking anti-inflammatory medication. Winkle said there was "hope" Johnson would play Round 1 of the tournament Thursday.
