Murray has slid down the rankings since undergoing back surgery at the end of last year, and has been inconsistent since his return to fitness.

Novak Djokovic is seeded first, with world number two Rafael Nadal missing out through injury. Roger Federer is second seed ahead of Stanislas Wawrinka.

The seedings mean that Wimbledon finalists Djokovic and Federer can only meet in the final.
