USA remain unbeaten against England at the World Cup after holding the self-styled inventors of soccer after the goalless draw in Al Khor on Friday evening, but who impressed most for Gregg Berhalter's side?

Matt Turner

Arsenal goalkeeper was quick to collect crosses and made a fine save to deny Mason Mount before half-time. Not as busy as expected. 7/10

Sergiño Dest

Showed ambition and energy, pushing forward whenever possible, as USA went on the front foot. Untroubled for long spells. 7/10

Walker Zimmerman

Produced a crucial block on Harry Kane to deny England an early opener. A physical and powerful presence at the heart of the USA defense. 7/10

Tim Ream

Caught out by Mount’s running at one stage but otherwise stayed calm and in control. At 35, he remains an imposing figure at the back. 7/10

Antonee Robinson

Few players have kept Bukayo Saka as quiet as this over the course of the season so far. A tireless soccer player, always enthusiastic on the left flank. 6/10

Weston McKennie

Wasted the best chance of the first half, firing over from Timothy Weah’s cross, but constantly stretched the England midfield with his driving runs. 7/10

Tyler Adams

The leader of this exciting midfield trio. More defensive than the other two, but he read the game expertly and continuously shut down England’s attacks. 8/10

Yunus Musah

Went head-to-head with Jude Bellingham in the battle of the teenagers. A relentless, intense performance, full of important tackles. 7/10

Timothy Weah

Son of former Ballon d’Or winner George, he was dynamic and adventurous without ever really hurting the England defence. 6/10

Haji Wright

Movement caused problems for England at times, but he was not as involved as he would have liked. Headed wide in the first half. 6/10

Christian Pulisic

Smashed the bar with a superb left-footed strike and also headed off target. Sparky dribbling made him a constant threat for USA. 7/10
