Vanessa Hudgens Is Reportedly Engaged to Cole Tucker: ‘I’ll Stop the World and Melt with You’

It looks like Vanessa Hudgens is ready to say OK “I do!”

The 34-year-old star is reportedly engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Cole Tucker, 26, according to multiple sources, including TMZ and People.

Per the report from TMZ, Tucker apparently popped the question at some point in late 2022, but the details are still unknown. The pair took a trip to Paris this past November, so it likely could've happened there, but both Hudgens and Tucker have remained hush-hush on the matter.

For those who may not know, Tucker is a professional baseball player, who plays shortstop and outfielder for the Colorado Rockies. He has been a part of the MLB since 2019, having previously been a part of the Pittsburgh Pirates team.

The athlete has been linked to Hudgens since 2020, when they were seen holding hands in Los Angeles. While visiting The Drew Barrymore Show in 2021, Hudgens revealed that she met Tucker while on a Zoom meditation call. “I get on the Zoom, and I'm like, 'Who is that?’” Hudgens said. “I found him, and we started talking...If I want something or someone, I'm going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move.”

While there hasn't been any official announcement from either of them, it's clear that love is in the air. Just last week, on January 25, Hudgens made a romantic post on her Instagram. The High School Musical alum shared a pic of her and Tucker smiling at each other on the dance floor, and she captioned it, “I’ll stop the world and melt with you [heart emoji].”

The pair first made their relationship IG official on Valentine's Day in 2021, when Hudgens shared a post that said, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us.” Then, Tucker made his first public statement about their relationship during spring training of that same year: “I got a girlfriend and she's cool...She's awesome, I love her. But I don't want it to be, ‘Oh, Cole's dating Vanessa.’ She's great. She'll be around. You will see her.”
