Victor Osimhen stance after 'perfect' Chelsea talks as Todd Boehly sanctions loan deal
Chelsea could be set for a hectic end to the transfer window. The Blues have been the busiest Premier League club this summer having signed 11 players and sanctioned the departures of 15 others, but their business is not expected to stop there.
Enzo Maresca's side are expected to resolve the future of several first-team players who are looking to leave the club before the end of the summer. Among those are Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell, with both players frozen out of the picture at Stamford Bridge. The same can be said for Trevoh Chalobah and Armando Broja, while Romelu Lukaku is edging closer to making the switch to Napoli.
Elsewhere, Chelsea could still sign more players. Jadon Sancho has been mooted as a possible target, while Victor Osimhen continues to be linked with a move to west London. Below, football.london takes a look at some of the latest media reports around Stamford Bridge...
Osimhen twist after talks
Chelsea continued to hold talks with Victor Osimhen and his camp over the weekend but still have work to do to convince the striker to make a move to Stamford Bridge late on in the transfer window, football.london understands. He is not the only candidate being considered though and other players could move onto the radar before deadline day.
Osimhen is still not part of Antonio Conte's Napoli side with all parties trying to find an exit route for the 25-year-old. He is still pining for an exit from the Italian club but no agreement has been reached with Chelsea. The Blues continue to push for the Nigerian but there is work to be done with regards to his wages.
Football.ondon says: "If Chelsea are going to sign a new centre forward before the end of the transfer window, it does feel like Victor Osimhen is the one they will get. The Nigerian has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer and his name continues to be the hottest topic.

"Although Nicolas Jackson scored for Chelsea against Wolves, I do feel like Chelsea might need another centre forward and Osimhen does feel the perfect fit considering his goalscoring record. I should stress that Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana and Romelu Lukaku should leave first, however."
Kepa move makes sense
Chelsea will sanction a loan move for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to Bournemouth, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Spaniard is available for transfer after returning from his loan spell with Real Madrid, but the Blues have so far failed to find a permanent buyer, having rejected a bid from Al-Ittihad earlier this summer.
However, Chelsea are now expected to allow Kepa to leave on loan with Bournemouth edging to closer to securing a deal for the 29-year-old, who made 20 appearances at Real last season.
Football.london says: "This is a move that does make sense. Kepa is fourth-choice now at Stamford Bridge and won't - barring any major injuries or suspensions - feature for the Blues this season. It does mean that a switch away will help him gain regular game time, even if it's on loan for the rest of the campaign.
"Although Neto produced a fine performance against Newcastle on Sunday, he didn't have his greatest afternoon at Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend and Kepa could find himself as first-choice at Bournemouth once his move is confirmed. There is no doubt his minutes will increase at the Cherries, however."
