Mario Balotelli has once again been left embarrassed after a problem with his bootlaces led to him missing the first two minutes of Nice's 1-1 draw at Nantes on Saturday.
The striker has had previous when it comes to complications with his kit; perhaps the most famous incident being him struggling to remove a training bib during a warm up ahead of Manchester City's Europa League game with Dynamo Kiev back in 2011.
Never one to fall away from the spotlight, the Italian was at it again at the weekend when, according to SportsJoe, he was unable to take to the field initially because his shoelaces were too tight.
To make matters even funnier, Balotelli then had to get the help of not one, but two backroom staff members to deal with the wardrobe malfunction as Nice began the game with 10-men.
Mercifully, the former Liverpool forward was able to put a coat on without any further issues when he was substituted later on in the game, although his mood suggested that he was far from happy with his manager's decision to bring him off.
Either that, or those bootlaces were getting too tight again...
