Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben appeared to be the ridicule of his teammates after the Dutchman made his displeasure clear at being substituted during the 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend.
Robben was replaced by Renato Sanches in the 85th minute of the game, but despite playing most of the match, the 33-year-old was visibly annoyed at the decision made by his manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Having reluctantly taken a seat on the substitutes bench, a number of Robben's teammates were seen laughing at the winger's childish reaction.
Xabi Alonso, Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng were just a number of players caught enjoying the moment on camera, as they couldn't resist seeing the funny side to Robben's antics.
Ancelotti meanwhile, moved quickly to play down the incident in his post-match interview, telling reporters: "I was never happy when I got substituted either when I still played. I do not have any problem with his reaction."
Thomas Muller's second goal of the season proved enough for Bayern to claim all three points against Gladbach on Sunday as they now head into the international break with a commanding 13-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
