None another than Arsenal's former midfield maestro Robert Pires set Twitter ablaze yesterday when playing at the Super Sixes tournament in London.
Naturally, there was goals and free flowing football aplenty during the tournament of ex-pros, but one moment in particular captured the attention of fans.
In the clip, the French midfielder can be seen effortlessly taking the ball past a helpless Carlos Puyol and setting up a goal for the French team. The former invincible's play-maker demonstrated that even at 43-years-old, he's still got the ability to put on a classy show.
Crowds flocked to the O2 Arena in London as some of the greatest modern names to ever lace up a pair of boots took to the pitch.

The star studded squads included ex-pros such as Steven Gerrard, Jay-Jay Okocha, Deco, and of course Carlos Puyol and Robert Pires.
Whether Arsene Wenger will approach Pires for a coaching role at the Emirates remains to be seen, but judging by his performance at the Super Sixes competition, maybe a spot in the centre of the park wouldn't be such a crazy nostalgic idea.
