With what should be an epic Manchester derby coming up on Thursday, there was always going to be some sort of back and forth taking place on social media. Yet no one expected it to be between the teams in question.
Yup, that's right. Manchester City and Manchester United kicked things off early via Twitter, and it was great banter... it really was.
The Old Trafford side were quick to point out a typo made by City's Twitter account after they misspelled Jesse Lingard's last name, and City responded somewhat sarcastically.
We have to assume that this was pretty big, as Sky Sports decided to cover it. Take a look at the video below to see Jim White's commentary over the spat.
