VIDEO: Lionel Messi Scores Insane Solo Goal in Training to Remind Us Just How Good He Is

Lionel Messi may have scored his 500th Barcelona goal in Sunday's Clasico, but just think about how many times he has hit the back of the net in training.

After a quiet few weeks and looking below his best in the Champions League quarter-final defeat to Juventus, the Argentine reminded those critics who are claiming he is past his best that he is still only aged 29 and has a lot more football left in him.

Whilst his second goal against Los Blancos was an instinctive finish, his first goal was all about that close control we have been so accustomed to watching.

And it's that close control and insane ability on the ball that has made a video of Barca training go viral, as Messi shows that he even embarrasses his own teammates, as well as his opponents.

In footage shot back in March, the little magician is seen taking on a number of teammates in a training match, leaving them on the floor and dancing around them with apparent ease, before firing the ball into the back of the net.

What makes the goal even more incredible is that the training match was being played on a miniature pitch meaning that Messi somehow found space when in reality, there wasn't any.

Truly remarkable!
