Watch: Bizarre goal celebration in Mexico looks like a WWE finishing move

Ben Carter

We all love an iconic goal celebration, be it Mario Balotelli's after his screamer against Germany or Antoine Griezmann and his 'Hotline Bling' celebration; now, from the third tier of Mexican football, we can see Lobos Prepa's number 10 taking goal celebrations to a whole new level:

After a clever touch on his right foot to take the ball away from the defender, the forward dispatches the ball calmly into the bottom corner of the net, leaving the keeper stranded.

Quite easily the most memorable part of this goal was when the number 10 goes off to celebrate. After receiving a casual high-five from one of his teammates, the forward runs and jumps into the metal wiring surrounding the pitch in a way that looks fitting for a WWE ring.

Although it's safe to say we won't be seeing Lionel Messi celebrating like this anytime soon, the Lobos Prepa forward could always follow in the footsteps of former Germany international Tim Wiese and pursue a career in professional wrestling.
