He's not the first to have done it, and he almost certainly won't be the last, but John Swift's accidental f-bomb after Reading beat Leeds on Saturday was one of the best in recent years.
It was also forgivable, given the circumstances. The 1-0 win, which came courtesy of Yann Kermorgant's first half goal, secured Reading's position in the top six and took them above Leeds into fourth place.
As it stands, the two sides are set to meet in the play-offs, although Sky Sports might opt to interview a different player next time.
Swift was quick (or swift) to apologise for his mistake and looked slightly embarrassed when he realised that he'd just blurted out "f*** it" live on TV.
So far this season, Swift has contributed with seven league goals from midfield for Reading. He'll be hoping to add to that - and to avoid post-match interviews - as his side hunt for promotion.
