Cristiano Ronaldo was at it again on Tuesday night as the superstar fired in the 47th hat-trick of his career in Real Madrid's victory over city rivals Atletico Madrid.

The Portuguese striker notched all three strikes in Los Blancos' Champions League semi-final first-leg triumph over Atletico Madrid and allowed his club, to firmly plant one foot in the final for the third time in four seasons.

It wasn't all good news on the night for Ronaldo, however, as a Real team-mate, Sergio Ramos revealed that the 31-year-old wasn't able to celebrate the bruising win over Diego Simeone's men right away. Why? Well, watch on to find out:

Of course, footballers need to abide by the laws of the game but, on the other hand, Ronaldo's such a fine specimen of a man with more footballing ability in his little toe than most of us have in our entire bodies, so pulling him up because he netted another three-goal haul may be pushing things a bit.
