Tottenham's Dele Alli has been, somewhat reluctantly, looking back over some of his old Tweets after turning 21 on Tuesday.

The club's official account posted a video shining a light on some of Alli's social media highlights as a 16-year-old, a few of which even he seemed to find questionable.

In fairness, his backing of teammate Harry Winks was clearly not a misjudgement, and the odd One Direction song never does any harm. Watch the video below for the collection of teenage Alli's Tweets.

"When I was at MK Dons we used to play against Tottenham in the academy, and I've always though Harry Winks was really good," Alli said of the Spurs midfielder. "He always used to be one of the players we talked about at MK."

Apart from talk of Winks, football it seemed wasn't always on the mind for Alli at the age of 16. His Tweets revealed that he spent his time looking for shout outs on Radio 1, watching the occasional Take Me Out episode, and browsing for a new pair of Ugg boots. How times have changed!
