Watch: Watch the Hilarious Moment Chicharito's Marker Follows Him Off the Pitch After Substitution

Whether you agree with this sentiment or not, man marking has to be the better of the two marking systems employed by managers, right?

Zonal marking can lead to all sorts of confusion among players of a defending team, and often leads to silly goals being conceded as opposition forwards don't get passed on to a player's team-mates at set pieces such as corners.

One particular player, however, took his man marking role to the extreme recently when he was asked to keep a firm eye on Bayer Leverkusen's poacher supreme Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez.

Werder Bremen's Nilas Moisander was so eager to keep Hernandez away from his side's goal, in fact, that... well, why not watch for yourselves first?

With Stefan Kiessling ready to replace the Mexican striker, Hernandez attempts to jog off the field of play - only to be followed by Moisander!

Clearly the Bremen defender hadn't been looking across to the sidelines like his team-mates, and had to be told by Hernandez that he was being withdrawn from the action and didn't need to be marked anymore. At least everyone saw the funny side of things!
