'We all dream of a team of G̶a̶r̶y̶ ̶B̶r̶e̶e̶n̶s̶ Lionel Messis' as the song goes.
Well, football fans need wonder no longer about just how successful a starting XI composed only of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner would be.
One intrepid (and presumably quite bored) FIFA gamer has put the question to the test by creating a team of Messis - from the goalkeeper, all the way through to striker.
The experiment provides interesting results which you can check out in the video below...
As you can see, a Messi XI probably isn't the best idea. Although a front three of Messi, Messi and well erm...Messi, is a frightening prospect for any defence, the 5 ft 6 inch forward is an absolute nightmare to have in between the sticks.
The video shows he concedes 71 goals in 26 games and that his side sit rock-bottom of the table.
So there you have it, be careful what you wish for.
A team full of quality doesn't guarantee you success, and you're probably much better off by having someone like Claudio Bravo in goal...maybe.
