This past week saw matchday four action in the AFC Champions League with some of Asia's best clubs battling it out for continental glory.
Among all the stellar performances, we have picked out three standout performers for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot. Our three contenders for this week are Suwon Bluewings' Ko Seung-Beom, Al Ahli (UAE) midfielder Everton Ribeiro and Al Ahli (KSA) forward Omar Al Soma.
Ko Seung-Beom was extremely impressive in Suwon Bluewings' 5-0 romp over Hong Kong's Eastern SC in Group G. He grabbed a brace with two brilliant finishes in addition to assisting the opening goal in the game. The 22-year-old South Korean winger had an impressive passing accuracy of 96% to compliment his outing on the day.
Meanwhile, UAE-based Al Ahli returned to the top of Group A in the tournament after a 3-1 away victory over Al Taawoun with Everton Ribeiro doing the star turn with a goal and an assist. If the Brazilian's assist was spectacular, his freekick goal from an almost impossible angle was nothing short of mesmerising.
Our third contender of the day, Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli's Omar Al Soma, was also impressive in his team's 2-2 draw with Al Ain in Group C. With his team falling behind twice, it was the Syrian international who brought his side back into the game twice. Once with a precise header from a corner while the other a clinical volley from the edge of the area in the 89th minute.
So, you have all the details. Now get voting and help us determine who came up with the most impressive performance in Asia this week.
