Denmark are the first side through to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 after they hammered Wales 4-0 in Amsterdam on Saturday evening.
Kasper Dolberg’s double either side of half-time put the Danes firmly in control, before late goals from Joakim Maehle and Martin Braithwaite put the result beyond doubt.
It was a sorry performance from Wales, who offered little in attack and looked ropey at the back, substitute Neco Williams making a blunder for Denmark’s crucial second goal which left Rob Page’s side with a mountain to climb.
They also ended the evening with ten men as another substitute, Harry Wilson, was sent off - albeit harshly- for a late challenge on Maehle.
Denmark, who have bounced back from the trauma of Christian Eriksen’s collapse in their opening game, will now play either Czech Republic or Netherlands in the last-eight.
