Leeds boss Neil Warnock hopes there could be two new faces teaming up with the rest of his squad at their training camp in Cornwall this week.
Warnock has taken 20 players to his tried and tested south west training retreat, including trialists Andy Gray and Martin Crainie.
And that number could increase as the week progresses.
He told the club's official website: "We're a bit thin, but there could be two within the next 24 hours or so. We are doing medicals on Monday afternoon so there's more news on the horizon.
"We've got one down with us, while one of the lads is having a medical at Thorp Arch and if that goes well then we'll complete that one."
Warnock confirmed that talks are ongoing with Jamaican international Rodolph Austin, over a switch to Elland Road from SK Brann.
