Daryl Clark is set to make his 200th Warrington appearance against Huddersfield this weekend.

The England and Great Britain international made the move to Halliwell Jones Stadium ahead of the 2015 season from Castleford.

His time with the Tigers saw hime earn the Steve Prescott Man of Steel award in his final season with them.

Clark was signed by Warrington for a fee of £185,000, and has been a vital part of their team ever since.

He became only the third hooker to win the Lance Todd Trophy during their 2019 Challenge Cup final victory over St Helens. Clark scored Warrington’s third and final try in the triumph. He also recently celebrated his 300th career appearance earlier this year.

If selected, the 29-year-old will make his 200th club appearance this Saturday against Ian Watson’s Huddersfield.

Daryl Powell praises Daryl Clark ahead of milestone

“I’ve known Daryl since Castleford and what a phenomenal player,” Powell told Love Rugby League.

“That try he scored last week, you think how many players can score that? Not many. That was excellent.

“He’s such a high quality player and so impressive.”

Another player set for a personal landmark for Warrington is Josh Charnley. The 30-year-old winger is set to make his 300th Super League appearance at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Charnley enjoyed his longest stint with Wigan, making 173 appearances. He has also represented Hull KR, Blackpool Panthers, England Knights and England.

“Josh has been around for years,” Powell added.

“He’s been scoring tries for fun this year. They’re great achievements and we’ll mark those tomorrow before the game.”

Meanwhile, captain Jack Hughes will be sidelined for up to four months due to a dislocated shoulder. Hughes, 30, sustained the injury during the club’s Easter Monday defeat at Hull.
