WATCH: Hagi shows Mourinho another way to deal with club medics and injured players

Romania legend Gheorghe Hagi took no prisoners when one of his own players went down injured in a move that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would have been proud of.

Romania legend Gheorghe Hagi took no prisoners when one of his own players went down injured in a move that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would have been proud of.

FC Viitorul boss Hagi was furious when one of his players opted to stay down and rest when he should have been taking the game to rivals Astra Giurgiu.

The former Real Madrid and Barcelona attacker raced across, shoved aside his own medical team treating the 'stricken player' and told him to get on with it.

The player then got up and carried on as if nothing had happened to him.

Mourinho was furious in Chelsea's first match of the season when club doctor Eva Carneiro ran on to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard with the Blues down to 10 men after keeper Thibault Courtois had been sent off.

Hazard had to leave the pitch and return after being treated by the doc, leaving his side hanging on with nine men.

Mourinho raged at Ms Carneiro who has since left the club and is in now in a legal battle with the Chelsea boss as a result.
