Watch Aballah Sima score Brest Champions League goal as ex Rangers star gets POTM award
Abdallah Sima scored on his first Champions League appearance for Brest - and picked up the player of the match award.
The former Rangers loanee joined the French side in another temporary move away from Brighton for this season. The Ligue 1 outfit had qualified directly for the new league phase of Europe's top competition with a top four finish last campaign.
They kicked off their stint in the UCL last night with a home game against Austrian's Sturm Graz, who had Scotland right-back Max Johnston in their ranks. Sima made a telling contribution, scoring the winner on 56 minutes.

Huge Magnetti had put Brest ahead in the first half, only for a Edimilson Fernandes own goal to bring the visitors level. But the Senegal forward showed Gers fans what they are missing but latching on to a flick on in the box and holding off a defender as he swivelled and struck beyond the keeper.
When TNT Sports posted a clip of the video, exclaiming "Wonderful piece of improvisation from Brest's Abdallah Sima", comments poured in from upset Rangers supporters.
One said: "Never fall in love with a loan player", while another added: "Real pain."
Another wrote: "Such a shame Rangers couldn't sign him permanently", while another added: "I miss him every day."
It had been hoped Rangers could bring the 23-year-old back for this season after he was one of their shining lights last season. Philippe Clement admitted a desire to do so but no deal could be struck with parent club Brighton.
