Aston Villa take on Crystal Palace at Villa Park in the Carabao Cup fourth round this evening (7:45pm kick-off).

Unai Emery's side come into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth after Evanilson scored in the sixth minute of added time at Villa Park. Ross Barkley had put Villa in front in the second half, but the hosts were made to pay for failing to control the final 10 minutes of the match.

Despite dropping two points, Villa remain unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions and take on a Palace side who have struggled for form so far this term. The Eagles have however travelled to Villa Park after winning their last match against Tottenham Hotspur, which was their first Premier League victory of the campaign.

Palace defeated Norwich City 4-0 in the second round and then beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road to book their place in the fourth round. Villa, meanwhile, beat League One side Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 at Adams Park last month.
