Aston Villa welcome yet another European giant to Villa Park this season as 1996 Champions League winners Juventus travel to the West Midlands.

After winning their first three group phase games without conceding a goal, toppling 1982 final opponents Bayern Munich in the process, Villa lost their last game away to Club Brugge and will be looking to immediately bounce back against the Old Lady.

With Unai Emery's side experiencing a sticky patch of form, winless in six games in all competitions, and Thiago Motta's Bianconeri undergoing a slight injury crisis, it promises to be an exciting encounter under the lights.

The fixture would have been the return of Douglas Luiz to Villa Park after his move to Turin in the summer, but the Brazilian midfielder has been ruled of the game due to injury.
