Kalidou Koulibaly put Chelsea in-front after just 19 minutes, but Spurs fought back in the second half and found the equaliser through Pierre Hojbjerg.

Reece James sent Tuchel running down the touchline in celebration after putting Chelsea ahead with 13 minutes to go. However, those celebrations were soon replicated by the opposite dugout as Harry Kane sealed a point with a last-gasp equaliser. Tuchel and Conte, who were separated earlier in the match, came face-to-face for a second time after the full-time handshake.

After the incident, Conte told Sky Sports: "I don't want to comment on the situation. I don't think it's the most important thing. If there is a problem it is between me and him, not everyone else.

"I want to speak about the game, not the situation between the two coaches." Tuchel added: "I thought when we shake hands we would look into each others' eyes. He had a different opinion. It was emotional. He was happy when he equalised. I got a bit heated.

"I think it (the red cards) was not necessary, but a lot of things weren't necessary. Another poor decision from the referee." On whether he would shake hands with Conte later, Tuchel added: "If we meet, we meet. If not, it's not a problem. It's a football match, it's a football match between two men, two competitors. Nothing bad happened."
