Last week David Villa delivered a MLS goal of the year candidate. This week, Darlington Nagbe may have provided him with some competition.
The Portland Timbers midfielder delivered an incredible individual effort in the 18th minute, shrugging off and getting around defenders before delivering a strike from the edge of the area, while falling away from goal, that left the Vancouver Whitecaps and goalkeeper David Ousted helpless.

Nagbe’s goal broke a scoreless draw at Providence Park. It was the U.S. international's second of the MLS campaign after he scored just one time in the 2016 regular season.
